The start of the 2021 season will be delayed

Due to the currently valid restrictive measures and uncertain assumptions for next weeks, the beginning of this year's horse racing and show jumping season in the Chuchle Arena Prague will be postponed. The originally planned racedays the 5th and 18th April and the show jumping event 8th-11th April will not take place. April. If it will be possible, the first raceday will take place on Sunday 25 April and the first show jumping races at the next weekend.

The Czech Jockey Club is examining the possibilities of starting this year's horse racing season with state administration bodies. It will financially support its introductory part, which will be reduced to the most important dates, ie. in Prague for classic races and their trials: 25 April, 16 May (Czech 2000 Guineas), 5 June, 27 June (Czech Derby).

The accompanying program of the originally planned raceday on 23 May (Lata Brandisova's Ladies Day) has been postponed to 2022.

The cancellation of the show jumping Chuchle Arena Prague Spring Show Jumping (8-11 April) is in accordance with the regulation of the Czech Equestrian Federation, which (due to the EHV 1 infection in Europe) prohibits the organization of all national sports events until 11 April.

You can find the updated calendar of events 2021 HERE.

We firmly hope that at least this crisis scenario will be fulfilled and that perhaps as soon as possible we will welcome not only participants but also visitors in the area of Chuchle Arena Prague.
