On Thursday, August 29th, the Velká Chuchle Summer Show Jumping was launched. The third this year's show jumping event at the Velká Chuchle racecourse will culminate on Sunday, September 1. Visitors will see almost 1,000 starts in four days. Among the competitors will be not only the best domestic riders headed by Aleš Opatrný, but also riders from Germany and Austria.

Simson Stakes (6f, 100 ths. CZK), the traditional first important race for 2yo horses, held since 1944, was the main race of summer raceday. Its start was attended by eight fillies and one colt, including the winners of all three June races for the youngest horses.

On Saturday, June 22, a top raceday of the season took place at the racecourse Prague-Velká Chuchle, the highlight of which was the most prestigious classic race: the 99th Czech Derby (Class A /Gd-3/, 12f, 2 mio. CZK). In spite of two heavy rain showers, a solid number of spectators came, fourteen three-year-old colts and two fillies were introduced to the audience.

Already this Saturday, the most prestigious race of the season for three-year-old horses, 99th CZECH DERBY, will take place at the racecourse in Prague-Velka Chuchle. Sixteen elite horses (fourteen colts and two fillies) are heading for the start. The Czech Derby is the richest classic race of the Central European region with a total prize of two million crowns, of which the winner will receive a million.

Ales Opatrny shows off really great form with his horses. He won the first and second place with Dukato VTH and Sangris Boy in the CPI Summer Cup in Velké Chuchle, Prague. She is now focusing on the Olympic qualification in Budapest.

Show jumping competitions have returned to the Prague racecourse after many decades: CPI Summer Cup & Family Days. Leading Czech riders, led by Czech leader Ales Opatrny, will appear at the start and participants from Slovakia will also be introduced. Accompanying program on Saturday and Sunday. Entry is free.

The seventieth running of RENOMIA May Stakes (Class A, 1m, 150 ths. CZK) with nine very good mile and mid-distances horses was the highlight of the fifth raceday of this metropolitan season.

The first part of Classic Triple Crown - Czech 2000 Guineas / 98th Velká jarní cena Pražské plynárenské (Class A, 1m, 600 ths. CZK) - was the highlight of the fourth raceday of this season at Prague-Velká Chuchle racecourse.
