Things to look forward to:

Children meet every day between 8 am and 8:30 am The daily programme finishes between 4 pm and 5 pm. During the day children are provided with three meals (morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack); proper hydration is provided as well.

Ponies and horses are available for riding classes (horses are assigned by an instructor) each participant gets experience on horseback for thirty minutes once or twice every day (depending on the number of children enrolled). Classes take place in an enclosed riding arena. Beginners start with their horse on the lunge. Riding practice is adjusted to the experience of individual participants – walk, trot, and canter later. Children practice proper sitting position and balance in the saddle. Safety of participants is of the utmost importance.

The programme also includes a theory section (how to be safe around horses, horse grooming, horse health, preparation for a riding class etc.). Children will also have a chance to enjoy games and play. On the last day of the programme, there will be a competition.

Daily schedule:

• 8:00 to 8:30: arrival of participants
• 8:30 to 11:30: horse riding, theory and practical class, horse care, games
• 11:30 to 12:30: lunch
• 12:30 to 13:00: rest
• 13:00 to 16:00: horse riding, theory and practical class, horse care, games
• 16:00 to 17:00: departure of participants

What will participants need?

• Health insurance card
• Tetanus vaccination
• Accident insurance
• Horse riding helmet
• Solid waterproof shoes
• Shoes with a smooth sole for horse riding (ideally equestrian Chelsea boots)
• Riding breeches or comfortable slim elastic trousers
• Mosquito repellent, sun block with necessary UV filter
• Head cover
• Pen and pencil, crayons and notebook (A4)
• Water bottle

Price and payment conditions:

• CZK 7500 incl. VAT
• The price includes: 5× CZK 1200 participant’s fee, 5× CZK 300 meals and drinks
• Non-refundable advance payment CZK 2500 incl. VAT, paid at enrolment
• The second payment CZK 5000 incl. VAT must be paid by 31 July 2023

Participants will be asked to comply with the health measures valid at the time of the programme (organiser will specify the details approximately one week before the start of the programme).
