Dakota won The Oaks-Trial



There were nine races ran on July raceday in Chuchle Arena Prague, The Oaks-Trial (Class A, 11f, 150 ths. CZK, 3yo f.) with nine fillies as a highlight of the schedule. In the final duel of two favorites, Dakota (j. Hrouda, tr. Török, own/bred Jiří Trávníček DS Pegas), in only the third start of her career, after two French trips in the first Czech one, achieved her first win. The winner of Czech 1000 Guineas Solemeena (j. Foret, tr. Luka, own/bred Martin Bláha) finished by a half length second, with Lady In Pink third by two and one quarter lenghts. Jockey Michal Hrouda and trainer Dalibor Török won this race of the first time, Jiří Trávníček's DS Pegas for the third time.

The second main race of the day was the first bigger seasonal race for two-year-old horses, Simson Stakes (Class B, 6f, 100 ths. CZK), in which even the second start of his career did not lose the favorite Red Coral (j. Verner, trainer Tůma, own/bred Jiří Charvát). 

Reigning champion of czech jockeys Jan Verner, trainer Miroslav Nieslanik and owner Eva Niselaniková during the day won two races, it was the 44th career double for Jan Verner.
