Matěj Kotalík won the Eliot Cup



The show jumping season at the Chuchle Arena Prague ended on Sunday, October 10, with the Eliot Cup 2021. Twenty pairs entered the one-round competition with the finals, the obstacles of which corresponded to the difficulty of T *. Matěj Kotalík and Cesano V won.

The third running of the traditional autumn Eliot Cup took place in the Chuchle Arena Prague. For this year, the Hungarian builder Magdolna Erdélyi was invited to the complex, who together with her team took care of the preparation of show jumping courses of high difficulty. The highlight of the three-day show jumping event was Sunday T *, in which twenty pairs entered. After the basic round, ten pairs qualified for the finals and the successful junior Anna Helebrantová appeared among them three times. In the end, she finished fourth with Cikadd, sixth with Ep van de Achterhoek Z and tenth with Greta SW.

Matěj Kotalík also had an advantageous position in the final, who fought his way to the shortened course with his two horses. He was the only one to continue with a clean account from the basic round, and when he was not missing even during the final race, it was decided that he would win with Cesan V.

Only seventeen-year-old Petra Pařenicová entered the finals with four penalty points from the basic round, and this was also the final point allocation for this rider. She did not make a mistake with the Evergreen P horse in the final and she took second place. Almost five seconds slower, Ondřej Nágr finished his second performance with D.Amelusina R22 and finished third with four penalty points.

The top ten pairs shared the prize-money of sixty ths CZK, and the last ceremony closed the 2021 show jumping season in the Chuchle Arena Prague complex.
