Zamico is Prague's Winter Favourite



This year's season at Chuchle Arena Prague ended with a program of seven races on Saturday, November 6. The highlight of the eleventh afternoon, the 5th Prague Winter Favourite Stakes (9f, 100 ths CZK, 2yo), presented nine two-year hopes and brought triumph to czech bred colt Zamico.

Son of the Czech Oaks 2009 winner Rabbit Zamindar Zamico (j. Línek, tr. Petrlík, own./bred. Rabbit Trhový Štěpánov) won by one and three quarters lenght by American Charlie, two biggest favourites Josephino and Hello Hola Hay placed third and fourth. Zamico ran for the third time and achieved the second consecutive win, thirteen days after the first one.

Bauyržan Murzabajev, a former three-time Czech champion, who will reach also the third title in Germany this year, was the jockey star of the day and won two races, as well as jockey Martin Laube, who reached ten wins in last four racedays. Also former trainer-champion Allan Petrlík and owner (stable) Rabbit Trhový Štěpánov won two races of the day.
