The second half of the season in Prague begins



The second half of this year's horse racing season at Chuchle Arena Prague will start on Sunday, September 5. The program of the event contains nine races and will start at 2 p.m. The accompanying program will take place under the name Charity Day.

The 76th Factoring České spořitelny Czech St Leger (Class A, 1m 6f, 600 ths CZK) and one of the most important comparative races, 43rd CK Martin Tour Prague Stakes (Class A, 1m, 600 ths. CZK) are highlights of the schedule. The race day is held under the auspices of the Minister of Agriculture Miroslav Toman.

Six 3yo colts and two fillies will run in the final and longest classic race of the year (Czech St Leger), Kamssio (Foret), who finished fifth in Czech Derby, is the favourite of this race. Field of twelve quality horses is heading to the Prague Stakes and phenomenal Frankel-son, for the first time in the Czech Republic starting Heaven Forfend, winner of last two editions of this race Torque Power, his stablemate Cape Freedom and globetrotter filly Zariyannka are main candidates for the victory.
