The second half of the season in Prague begins

The second half of this year's horse racing season at Chuchle Arena Prague will start on Sunday, September 5. The program of the event contains nine races and will start at 2 p.m. The accompanying program will take place under the name Charity Day.

Gold for Anna Marie Vitek

The highlight of the four-day Czech Children and Junior Show Jumping Championships in the Chuchle Arena Prague was the Sunday final of the older junior competition. Rider Anna Marie Vítek is experiencing a sensational season and after an excellent bronze medal from the European Championship in the children's category, she won gold among older juniors at the national championship in Chuchle Arena Prague. She achieved both successes with Chacco´s Amke.

The Czech championship of children and juniors again in Chuchle Arena

From Thursday to Sunday, the Chuchle Arena Prague hosts the Czech Republic Show Championships for Children and Juniors. On her home arena will present the recent European Championship medalist Anna Marie Vitek. There will also be other young riding stars.

German rider Prause won in Summer Cup again

Just like less than a year ago, this year's Chuchle Arena Prague Summer Cup was won by German rider Manuel Prause. In the saddle of Cascada he rode the basic and final course without penalty and in combination with the time of 42,12 he became the winner. In second place, Václav Horký was the best of the Czech participants.

Dakota won The Oaks-Trial

There were nine races ran on July raceday in Chuchle Arena Prague, The Oaks-Trial with nine fillies as a highlight of the schedule. In the final duel of two favorites, Dakota (j. Hrouda, tr. Török, own/bred Jiří Trávníček DS Pegas), in only the third start of her career, after two French trips to the first Czech one, achieved her first win.

Summer raceday with olympic atmosphere

On Saturday 17 July, a summer raceday will take place in the Chuchle Arena Prague from 2 pm. It will offer nine races (with Oaks-trial for 3yo fillies as a highlight) and accompanying program, in cooperation with the Czech Olympic Committee, fully in the spirit of the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo. Before traveling to raceday, pay attention to the current traffic restrictions in Velká Chuchle.

Traffic changes near by Chuchle Arena Prague

Czech Derby for favored Hazarder

On Sunday, June 27, the 101st CPIPG Czech Derby took place in Chuchle Arena Prague. The winner being the favored Hazarder with jockey Václav Janáček, Tcheque King finished second, Royal Word took third place. Fourteen three-year-old stallions and two mares presented themselves in the most prestigious and with a total prize-money of two million CZK (ca. 78 ths eur), also the richest flat race in Central Europe.

Czech Derby, again in June, enters the second hundred years

The most important test of the Czech horseracing calendar and also the richest flat race in Central Europe, the Czech Derby, which took place last September due to the postponement of the entire season, is returning to its traditional June date. This Sunday in the Chuchle Arena Prague, fourteen three-year-old colts and two fillies will compete on the 1 1/2 mile the most prestigious classic race. The first of eight races of the day starts at 12.30 pm.

First win in the Cup for Petr Dohnal

The Czech Jumping Cup continued in the Chuchle Arena Prague on Sunday, June 13, in the third round. Petr Dohnal and Tashita won the Prague Grand Prix after a thrilling final, when he was the only one to complete both parts of the competition without penalty. Aleš Opatrný finished second and Tereza Svobodová placed third.
